SELESKY, PHYLLIS ANN age 81, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A celebration of her life will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 6, 2017 at the First Congregational Church, 6494 S. Belsay Road, Grand Blanc, MI, Pastor Rodger Good officiating. A luncheon will follow the service. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. and 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Friday at the Church. Internment at Perry-McFarland Cemetery will occur following the luncheon. Phyllis was born November 4, 1935 in Grand Blanc, Michigan; the daughter of Edwin J. and Fern (Perry) McDonald. She lived in Grand Blanc her entire life, attended Grand Blanc High School and married Harold A. Selesky on August 18, 1956. Phyllis was an active member of her church community and a long-standing member since 1956 at the First Congregational Church in Grand Blanc. She was a graduate of Mott Community College School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, Michigan retiring in 1996.  In addition to her husband of 61 years Harold Selesky; she is survived by her sons Scott (Donna) Selesky of Brighton, MI,  Paul (Karen) Selesky of Waterford, MI, and William (Pam) Selesky  of Estero, FL; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Theresa Stone of Flint, MI, Ellen Haicl of St. Helen, MI; brothers John McDonald of Casa Grande, AZ, David McDonald of St. Helen, MI, Michael McDonald of Ludington, MI and Richard McDonald of Fenton, MI as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother Fern McDonald, her father Edwin J. McDonald and her daughter, Katherine Munch. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to all of the sister nurses that helped Phyllis and her family over the past few months. We are forever thankful for your dedicated and loving care. The family would also like to thank all the friends and family who supported Phyllis with visits and cards during her illness, which was something Phyllis cherished. Special thanks go to her sister Theresa, her oldest and best friend, for her lifelong love and support.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the First Congregational Church of Grand Blanc.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.hillfh.com
